I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Birmingham-Southern College. I received my Ph.D. in political science from George Washington University, with focuses on American Politics and Quantitative Methods. My research and teaching interests lie in political psychology, voter turnout and democratic engagement, public opinion, media and politics, and political socialization. My methodological interests focus on survey design and analysis, and I am currently working on projects on misreporting of voting and the difficulties in analyzing long-term panel data.
